19 April, 2012
Thursday
Breakfast this morning, again late and especially so because of the time change, (ahead 1 hour),  We went to the ‘Taste’ dining room.  Excellent meal but way too much food.  We think there were probably 5 or 6 eggs in the scrambled eggs on each plate plus hash browns, ½ dozen slices of bacon, juice, yogurt, and toast.  There seems to be something in the air there because this is the second time my nose, Dick,  has started to run when visiting there.

It was a little too cool and windy to sit out so we spent most of the day inside. At 12:30 we went to the “Murder Mystery” performed by ‘Second City’.  This included lunch with a choice of roasted chicken or grilled fillet of salmon.  It was an impromptu show and audience participation was high and the show was designed so that the audience did not correctly guess the killer, although they had selected who would die.

In the evening we went to the ‘Headliners’ club to hear the ‘Duelling Pianos’ again.  Settled down to sleep about midnight.

Friday
We didn’t sleep as late this morning but this sleeping in is becoming a habit. Putting the clocks ahead an hour last night also made it seem later

In the morning we went to a talk about the new Norwegian ship ‘Breakaway’ being built in Grt. Britain and being launched in 2013.  The afternoon was warm and sunny so we spent it on deck 15, the pool deck.  We had a late dinner in ‘Taste’ restaurant then went looking unsuccessfully for some quiet music.  The blues music in the ‘Fat Cats’ Jazz Bar was nice but way too loud and we soon left. We settled around the corner from a piano/singer.  His music was noce but we felt he used too much amplification.

The clocks go ahead another hour tonight so we’re going to bed shortly, about 11pm.
